It's finally finished! We've completed the DVD ("A Question of Mercy: Gospel Application to Issues of Justice and Mercy") and we're having a launch night here in Brisbane on June 13th - all welcome!
Filming is completed for the upcoming DVD series titled "A Question of Mercy". This series has been over a year in the making, and its goal is to facilitate small groups of Christians to think through theological categories such as "Justice" and "Mercy".
The DVD is in the final stages of post-production and will be available for shipping to just about wherever you are in the world.
Mark Driscoll is doing a couple of things in Brisbane as well:
(1) A biblical theology of mission; this is a one-day event at QTC on August 28. You can get the details at the QTC Website.
(2) A men-only night, following along his "burn your plastic Jesus" theme - details at this site.
So the KCC Engage conference sold out in milliseconds, but if you're in Sydney and still want to catch some of the Driscoll phenomena, he's going to be doing one massive gig at the Sydney Entertainment Centre - "Burn Your Plastic Jesus"
Engage 2008 - Mark Driscoll and Don Carson will be speaking in Katoomba, NSW, at this event. It's a conference that seems to be about Chritianity in the workplace.
This is a pretty rare trip for Mark Driscoll to make out here - hopefully it will be a beginning for Acts 29 church planting to occur in Australia.
The Church Missionary Society in QLD and Northern NSW is holding its annual summer school, this year featuring Don Carson.
It's on 4th to 10th January 2008, and all the details are at the website.
