This is the first ever newsletter for the CityGospel.net website, an Australian online community of Christians. CityGospel.net "aims to promote some unity between missional churches in Australia that share a passion for the gospel", and during January we have got off to a great start with diverse topics of discussion and some interest from around Australia.
CityGospel's first month
January 2008 was our first month of operation, and we had friends join up from as far afield as Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland. Thanks to everyone who has introduced themselves in the forum - it really helps to know something of everyone's background.
Articles
In January, Steve Wilson contributed a probing article entitled "Then shall your light break forth like the dawn". Steve's been heavily prompted by the Spirit over the last year to not just study these issues but also to begin a "mercy ministry" in inner Brisbane.
Please consider contributing articles to the front page of CityGospel.net. Once you log on to the forum, you'll find a new menu item in your Users menu called Content Publishing; this should give you most of the info you need to know - drop us an email if you need help or permissions set up.
